Baby Jonathan

Mema's birthday was this week, so we decided to throw her a party. Aaron, Lesle, and baby Jonathan came in town to celebrate. He went swimming for the first time, and got passed around for snuggles.

Playing all weekend

Saturday, we had friends and family over for Nick's 29th birthday. We had a great turnout and everyone had a blast. Nick's parents and my parents came too. Unfortunately, since we were all having such a great time, I did not take many pictures. Here are the few that I did snap.

Nick was forced to wear the hat for just one picture

Poo had too much fun (and food)

Sunday, after church, we went to Allison's parents house for some swimming and fun in the sun. We swam, played with the basketball goal, played volleyball, and grilled out. Everyone had a great time and was super tired afterward. Here are some fun pics from yesterday.

Here lately

We have been busy lately, both at home and work. First, I would like to officially announce that Jonathan Alexander Campbell made his arrival April 26 at 0228. He was 8 pounds 3 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. It was a long long labor for Lesle (33 hours), but she was a champ and did a fabulous job. Look!

A Haircut

Well, it is getting hot outside. So, it came time to cut Poo's hair. He was not excited. Here he is before:

He is mad, annoyed, and a little nervous.

But...

Look how handsome and thin he looks. He is a beautiful, er handsome!

Past few weeks

We have had lots of stuff going on around here. We have been enjoying the nice weather. We have been taking our sweet Poo on lots of walks. He loves to go on walks and pee on everything he can. And, once he runs out of pee he just lifts his leg and pretends.

We see lots of pretty sunsets from the top of the walking trial Poo likes most. Josh and his girlfriend came in for a short visit for my mom's birthday before vacationing in DC. Everyone was in town for mom's birthday and she had a great one. (as far as I know.) Austin and Forum, Shaffer, Chase, Trey, and the Tatum's came over for dinner and hanging out. I hope she had the best birthday ever.

Nick had another flag football game and I was finally off so that I could come to it again. I took LOTS of pictures with my new camera. The distance lens worked pretty good. They beat the number one team and Nick's good friend Stan played. It was good to see him again and hang out for a bit.

Also, Nicole had her baby. I have pictures but I need to ask her about posting them before I do. He is VERY handsome though. Trust me. I'm a professional baby judger.

Speaking of babies. My cousins are having their baby boy on Monday. If she doesn't go into labor before then. Please pray for a smooth delivery and healthy mom and baby. Also, pray for safe travels as we all come together in Mississippi for the birth.

Finally, I would like to invite anyone who does not already have plans on Easter to come worship and celebrate at Mountain Top Community Church in Vestavia.  They are having a service at 6:00am, 9:00am (which I will be at) and 11:00am. It will be great.

Oops I disappeared

So, I kind of fell of the earth for a week. Hmm, where was I? Ah, yes! I was at my 2nd home. The ER. It was a busy week, and I am glad it is now my off week. We went to Nick's mom and Stacey's house for dinner on Saturday and ate hamburgers with them and Jessica and Danny. It was fun seeing everyone! Yesterday, We went to church. It was a great service as always. We had some friends over for dinner. It was lots of fun.
I also had my sweet mentee Vivian post a verse on my FB wall in response to one of my other posts. It is 1 Thessalonians 3: 11-13. It says, "Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you. May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May He strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones."This verse is inspiration for how I should be for others.
